Crested Butte New Years 2012

We had a wonderful trip to Crested Butte this year. It was Charlotte's first year to go and she loved Nana's cabin in the mountains. We had beautiful weather which wasn't great for the skiiers but perfect for spending the day outside playing. I have tons of pictures so I will let them tell the story. I love looking back at these photos, what great memories. Thanks to Nana and Pops for a perfect winter vacation, we hope this one can be an annual tradition!

Crested Butte has the cutest children's museum right at the base of the mountain. It is such a great indoor activity for the little ones, and you can walk right out and watch everybody skiing down the mountain. Charlotte had a blast!

New Years morning we set out on a snowshoeing adventure. Daddy got to carry Charlotte since Mama was carrying Olivia! Good thing he is a fit guy!!! This was my favorite day. It felt so good to get out in the sunshine and hike, and the views were breathtaking. And lucky for a pregnant lady, the hike ended in a delicious New Years brunch out in the wilderness. It was such a special memory, thanks for the treat Nana and Pops!

Happy 2nd birthday to Charlotte!!! We celebrated with Red Velvet cake (which of course silly girl did not eat!) Nana brought her new baby doll a snowsuit so they could sled together. What a special mountain birthday celebration!
