Nana spent the week helping with Charlotte while we were at the hospital, and stayed to welcome us home and take care of all of us! Pops joined us Friday night, and spent the weekend getting to know Olivia and making Charlotte feel special. We had a very nice time. It was great to be homebound and just spend our time playing together. Charlotte enjoyed showing Pops her playroom and toys, her new big girl room, our neighborhood park, etc. The highlight of the weekend was building the girls a swing set! Pops has been offering and offering and offering to get them a playscape for quite some time. We were having such a hard time finding one that would fit in our yard (thanks to the HUGE slope). So, daddy decided to build one! We decided that we just needed swings since we have the slide on the deck and could get a separate sandbox. Poor Pops was probably just planning to foot the bill, but ended up helping to build the swing set!! I know Sam was grateful for the help and the girls had fun watching! Charlotte and her buddies LOVE her new swing set and have put in a lot of hours swinging this summer!
