Trick or Treat!

This was the first year that we went door to door trick-or-treating. Last year Charlotte was probably old enough to have fun but had a tummy bug so we stayed home. This year she got the hang of it quickly and thought it was great! She chose M&M's at every house if they were an option... really the only candy she has ever had! We went to about 8 houses and she thought that was enough. We definitely didn't argue, I'm sure that will not happen again in the next year or 2!!

Mommy was home from work on Halloween because Livi had her ear tubes put in that morning. I made chili and cornbread, so Brooke and family came down to eat with us before we headed out. Livi was NOT in the mood for her turtle costume and took a nap while we trick-or-treated. Thanks to JaJa and Papaw who held down the fort and passed out candy so we could take Charlotte. Daddy decided to be a creepy old coach this year, and sure pulled it off - complete with a creepy stach!! He got some interesting looks from the neighbors. Poor Charlotte isn't old enough to be embarrassed and just held his hand all the way down the street. Just wait until she sees these pics in 10 years!!!
